| Technyx names Basden Steel its Customer of the Quarter for Q3 |

(BOUCHERVILLE, QC) – Technyx, a business unit of Canam Group, has named Basden Steel, a structural steel company based in Burleson, TX, its customer of the quarter for the third quarter of 2008 in the scope of its client recognition program. This program underlines and highlights the successful relationship that Technyx enjoys with external business partners who employ the technical outsourcing services offered at its offices in Brasov, Romania.
“Basden Steel started using Technyx’s outsourcing services in 2002. In six years, the Basden team in Romania has grown from 2 to 20 structural detailers,” began Jean Thibodeau, President of Technyx. “This customer has always remained loyal and has been an outstanding ambassador for Technyx in the construction industry. Their exceptional commitment has resulted in a unique business relationship based on ongoing communication, solution-based thinking and mutual respect,” continued Mr. Thibodeau.
Founded in 1985, Basden Steel provides for the structural steel needs of the construction industry. Because both fabrication and erection divisions are housed under the same roof, Basden is able to offer its customers turnkey solutions and seamless services from start to finish.
Technyx markets outsourcing services in the engineering and industrial drafting sectors from its offices in St. Georges and Boucherville (Canada), Brasov (Romania) and Kolkata (India).
