This project was a unique undertaking for Technyx, both on a technical level as well as with regards to logistics, given the extremely tight deadline.
Technyx produced a 3D model and some 25,000 shop drawings in the scope of this project. In collaboration with engineering firm Thornton Tomasetti, Technyx also used a process called direct digital exchange, which allows models to be exchanged quickly and efficiently between drafting and engineering teams. |

For this project, Technyx employed a new Model Sync feature found in Tekla Structures 13 that allows users to make partial transfers of models between offices.
All files and modifications were housed on a main server that was available to drafting team members, which greatly simplified coordination. |
